· Would you drive differently if you drove with the Son in your eyes?
· What’s the opposite of worry? Apathy? Trust? Faith? Philippians 4 might tell us Paul suggests the opposite of worry is grateful prayer.
· Theologian Marty Solomon said “God can do more with a stone in the air than a stone in your pocket.” He based this on the story of David bravely taking down Goliath with a stone even though Judges 20:16 tells us there were 700 actual soldiers known to be able to sling a stone at a hair and not miss. What is your stone to sling?
· If the size of our prayers reveals the size of God in our eyes, how big is your God?
· Proverbs 26:12 indicates its better to be a fool than to be arrogant…”The most stupid fool is better off than those who think they are wise when they are not.”
· Dallas Willard once said that ‘familiarity breeds unfamiliarity’ warning us that thinking we already know what the Bible says may lead us to no longer digging into the Word.
